TURNING COMPLICATION INTO SOLUTIONS
At Hami Law House, we proudly represent both legal aid (publicly funded) clients and privately funded clients when legal aid is unavailable to an individual. No matter how your case is funded, Hami Law House makes the commitment that you will receive the same level of service and advice.
You are entitled to free advice and representation at the police station.
If you have been arrested or asked to attend on a voluntary basis, and the police wish to interview you under caution, you are entitled to free advice and representation at the police station. Advice and assistance are free, regardless of the crime or your financial circumstances. Remember that a Hami Law House legal representative will be available to assist you free of charge, depending on your financial circumstances.
If you have been arrested, we provide 24-hour emergency advice and support. You can call us at [Emergency Phone Number: +919927619300].
Or, if you have been asked to participate in a voluntary interview, you may contact our office at [office phone number].
Public funding, i.e., legal aid, will depend on the offence you have been charged with and your financial circumstances. Legal aid will determine whether your case meets the interests of the trial—that is, whether your liberty, job, reputation, language difficulties, mental health issues, and whether you intend to fight the case are justified. It will be considered whether you are eligible for it or not. Free legal aid depends on financial circumstances. We can assess whether you qualify for free legal aid.
The legal aid group will also look at your financial circumstances. Contributions can be applied if you receive benefits and if you earn more than the limit, but it will depend on your income and expenses. Our objective is to provide legal advice and assistance to poor people.
If you do not qualify, we offer a fixed-fee arrangement to ensure that your legal costs do not get out of control.
